Last Updated November 3, 2026

Our Commitment to Your Privacy

We recognize that personal growth may include sensitive experiences involving body image, bariatric surgery, GLP-1 medication, relationships, emotions and life changes.

This policy explains how information is collected, used, stored and handled when visitors use the website, purchase digital products or use the interactive book.

Information We Collect

Depending on how you use our products and services, we may collect:

  • Name and email address
  • Purchase and order information
  • Account information
  • Preferences and journey stage
  • Journal entries, guided reflections and exercise responses
  • Reading progress
  • Support messages you send us

Please avoid entering unnecessary medical records, financial account numbers, or highly sensitive identifiers.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Fulfill purchases and provide access
  • Maintain accounts and optional cross-device synchronization
  • Save your reflections and progress
  • Provide support
  • Maintain functionality, security and reliability
  • Meet legal recordkeeping obligations

We may send marketing communications where offered, subject to your consent and unsubscribe options.

Private Reflections

Journal entries, exercise responses and progress are saved locally on your device. If you enable account synchronization, they may also be stored with our cloud provider.

Your private reflections are not publicly displayed or shared with community members. Authorized technical access may be needed for maintenance, security or support. No method of storage is guaranteed to be risk-free.

Payments and Third Parties

Stripe processes book purchases, and the business may receive the order information needed to fulfill your purchase. Their policies apply to that processing.

Depending on the features you use, other services may be involved, such as Lovable, Supabase, Skool, and embedded YouTube content.

Sharing

We share information with service providers as reasonably necessary to operate the products and services, and where disclosure is required or permitted by law. Our ordinary features do not share your journal entries publicly.

Storage and Security

We take reasonable steps to protect information, which is stored on your local device and, if you enable sync, with an optional third-party cloud provider. No system provides an absolute security guarantee.

Your Choices and Deletion

Having an account and enabling synchronization are optional. The app offers controls to clear local data and to delete your account and synchronized data. Some transaction and support records may be retained for legitimate business and legal purposes.

To make a request, contact support@changingimage2020.com.

Retention

We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the products and services, maintain records, provide support, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods vary by data type.

Children's Privacy

Our products are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact support@changingimage2020.com.

Educational and Health Notice

Our products provide educational personal development content. They are not medical diagnosis, treatment, or individualized medical advice, and are not a substitute for qualified health or mental health professionals.
